We formed the West Los Angeles Fisher House Foundation, a non-profit 501C(3) to finance and build a “Fisher House” – a much needed “home away from home” for patients (U.S. Servicemen and Veterans) and their families on the grounds of the West Los Angeles Health Center, as currently there is no housing of this type available.

This facility will not only help relieve a financial burden and allow family members to spend extended time periods with their loved ones, but will also serve to create a sense of community and support among all who are staying there. The West Los Angeles Fisher House will have 100% handicapped accessible: 21 deluxe, private bath suites, common kitchen, laundry, large dining room, ample living room, a family lounge area, elevator, a library and toys for children.

The West Los Angeles Health Center will run and maintain the West Los Angeles Fisher House upon its completion.
